Located in Jasper National Park in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, Marmot Basin Ski Resort has 84 marked trails offering a wide variety of terrain – from long, gentle novice runs to alpine bowls, chutes and glades that keep the experts on their toes.

Ski Marmot Basin and experience a variety of ski runs split evenly between beginner, intermediate and advanced. There is something to please those of all abilities, with the terrain divided into 4 distinct areas.   

Marmot Basin is located a 20-minute drive from the town of Jasper, Alberta, which offers all the amenities of a premier winter resort while still preserving that small-town atmosphere.

Jasper is located around 360km from Edmonton International Airport, it’s nearest air gateway, and 480km from Calgary International Airport. Alternatively, driving from Vancouver to Jasper takes approximately 10 hours.

As Winter is off-season for Jasper, skiers and boarders can get some great deals on accommodation, dining and activities while visiting Marmot Basin.
