The Grotto Spa's Treetop Tapas & Grill named
"Best Spa Café" and "Best Onsite Gourmet-Style Cuisine"
for 2009 by Travel to Wellness Canada
The Grotto Spa at Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort is once again receiving national attention. The Treetop Tapas & Grill restaurant was named ‘Best Spa Café' for the second consecutive year and ‘Best Onsite Gourmet Style Cuisine of 2009' by Travel to Wellness Canada.
The Grotto Spa was featured in the recently released ‘Best Spas in Canada of 2009,' compiled annually by Travel to Wellness Canada, the first and only Canadian online editorial guide to Canada's wellness and spa travel destinations.
The Grotto Spa's Treetop Tapas & Grill received the exclusive "Best Spa Café in Canada" recognition for the second year in a row, as well as "Best Onsite Gourmet Style Cuisine of 2009" for its decadent tapas sized dishes and unique robe-only dining experience. Reserved exclusively for guests of the spa, the 3rd floor Treetop Tapas & Grill overlooks the surrounding cedar and arbutus forest. Guests of the Treetop dine in the comfort of their spa robes and sandals before or after treatments. The seasonal menu features local ingredients and west coast inspired dishes. Guests can try a few items or choose Endless Tapas, selecting as many items as desired from the extensive menu. With fresh seafood, antioxidant cuisine and delectable desserts, the tapas-sized portions are perfect for sampling and sharing.
